Bio

Currently Arielle Casale’s art resides in the realms of linoleum prints, vintage re-purposing, window dressing, costuming, and bug studies in her New Hope home.  After years of tending to the constant needs of clay work, Arielle feels the need to challenge her creativity with the space and the materials available.  This hiatus was brought about when Arielle decided to spend a month in the Baja to study yoga and earn her initial 200 hour teacher training certificate. Arielle then followed up the process of earning her 400 hour-Yoga Teacher Training certificate through River-Flow Hot Yoga in Pt. Pleasant, PA.  In September 2010, Arielle started her career teaching yoga.

“In college I discovered my love for yoga and always knew I wanted to balance my career as an artist with sharing the tremendous benefits of yoga to my community. “

In the recent past, Arielle  has had projects ranging from ceramic sculptures based on sacred geometric forms to environmental installations dedicated to ecological issues. She has working relationships with local area artists including Steve Tobin, Willi Singleton, and Katia McGuirk.  Since it’s birth in March of 2009, Arielle Casale has devoted her efforts to curate community art shows at the new R.A.T. Gallery in Gardenville.   Arielle Casale is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Asheville.  Her concentration is in wood-fired ceramic sculpture and installation sculpture.
